Surfing is HARD! I took a lesson and have a nice scar on my knee to remind me that belly surfing is totally acceptable.
I must have read this book in a parallel universe because I’m going through my own unfamiliar movement project for rehabilitation with my back. Through pilates I have learned I have trust issues I need to deal with and through yoga I have to be comfortable with heart openers which explains so much.
I feel for that women who threw rocks all over the beach! I would have done the same thing.

Omg... How did you get the scar? We had a woman who was staying here get flipped over in surf and catch a fin to the head, earning a nice-sized welt.
It's amazing how much our minds and bodies are connected, how much we learn from moving our bodies in new ways!
I fell off after a brief moment on my feet and my knee found a sharp rock on the ocean floor. That scar is my Hawaiian souvenir.
A great piece, Aaron. You will be a surfer dude in no time at all.
Awwwww thanks Rosie :)
