Friday Fun Flier XXXIII
Some new changes, a great book, and a yoga flow podcast I can't stop using :)
Hello Hello everybody! It’s been an… interesting few weeks in Panama, but I’m still following the thread of movement. I just wrapped up an Aerial Yoga teacher training, and now I’ve come to a quiet village in the south to continue writing and developing my personal movement practices. I’ve got a few announcements:
Announcement 1:
The Well-Lived Life has got three shiny new social media pages! If you’d like to see more of what we’re up to and you don’t have time to read whole posts, these are for you!
You can now follow The Well-Lived Life on:
Instagram: @the_well_lived_life
Linkedin: The Well-Lived Life
Facebook: The Well-Lived Life
Announcement 2:
I’m doing away with ‘exclusive’ content. It’s been almost two months since I started doing it, and it just feels icky to me. It’s not in accordance with who I am.
So from today forward, all content is free, with the option that if you really enjoy The Well-Lived Life, you can always support us as a patron if you choose!
Here is a button for “40% off”, if you’d like to support the work and writing that I do:
All of the posts that were “exclusive” have been unlocked for anyone to read. Any posts labeled The Unfamiliar Movement Project are all yours if you want to catch up!
A great book I just finished:
The Angel’s Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
If you’ve never read Ruis Zafon’s Cemetary of Forgotten Books quartet, you need to. Like, right now. Don’t talk to me until you’ve finished!
This is not homework, this is a favor.
Three of them can be read independently of each other, and I’d gone through that trilogy a few times, but I’d never read The Angel’s Game until it beckoned to me from a hostel bookshelf.
What a RIDE! This is one of the best supernatural thrillers I’ve ever had the good fortune to read. Zafon takes the classic “deal with the devil” story and does something completely new with it.
There’s intrigue. There’s murder. There’s a creepy old house with secrets.
This book has it all, and it keeps you wondering and guessing until the very last page. And if you love it, there are three other books you can read!
A podcast I’ve been flowin’ to:
Flow With Me Yoga
Calling all yogis:
If you’re moderately familiar with yoga, this is a great way to get a flow in! Natalia is a solid teacher with a beautiful voice. You feel like you’re in good hands! She also covers a range of different styles.
It’s a great way to expand on your personal practice without the distraction of video (I always find that doing yoga from youtube makes it hard to focus).
That’s all for this week folks! Thanks for reading, may your week ahead be filled with love and light.
Aaron
Love the gesture that you are making it free because it doesn't resonate with your personality.
More power to you brother :)
It’s been a minute! It sounds exciting to be in Panama learning to a of new things like, yoga, and paranormal creepy stuff. 😂
Love & Light, friend 😊
